I have served as a Maritime Writer and a Maritime Consultant for one and a half years.
Now I announce that “MARITIME JAPAN Co., Ltd.” was established on December 10, 2020 in Japan.
The company name, “MARITIME JAPAN”, involves my thought that I want to commit to the society, not only Japan but also all over the world, especially to the maritime affairs and companies, such as shipping, shipbuilding, sea transportation companies and so on even after I quitted Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd, which I served as a shipbuilding designer, a machinery designer for almost 28 years from 1991, in Nagasaki, Shimonoseki, Tokyo, and Rio Grande in Brazil.
The established day, December 10, 2020, is set with my feeling to my wife. My wife passed away on December 10, 2010. Just ten years ago. (So I have been a single for 10 years.)
I wish the day changes to remind me not only something sad but also delight. So it`s a private felling.
MARITIME JAPAN intends to commit a society to serve maritime affairs. Shipbuilding companies, shipowners, ship management companies, ship machinery manufacturers and related banks and insurance companies in Japan has played a big and important role in the world, especially in the era of “Showa” and “Heisei”. I consider they shall also an important role in the era of “Reiwa” and the future.
